Gratitude this Holiday and Always

"Today, be grateful. Be grateful for your favorite music, for movies that make you feel good, for the phone that connects with people, for your computer, and for the electricity that lights up your life. Be grateful for the roads and traffic lights that keep the traffic in order. Be grateful for those that built our bridges. Be grateful for our loved ones, for our children, pets, for our eyes that enable us to read this. Be grateful for your imagination. Be grateful that you can speak. Be grateful that you can laugh and smile. Be grateful that you can breathe. Be grateful that you are alive! Be grateful that you are YOU.

Be grateful that there are two words that can change your life, and say them over and over again:

Thank You!

--From The Secret

I am very grateful for the blessings that my family received this holiday season. I am also thankful for Suzanna's Mom inviting Dad to Christmas dinner at the Tyrrell house.

With Love,

Wondering

Jess is off to Italy. Christmas is practically a day away and 2010 is upon us. Dad's House is coming along, just need to keep Dad focused on finishing projects.

He's doing what he needs to but you can understand that we are changing Dad's life as he knows it, and it is going to take alot strength and the help of family.

The perfect life is created through Intention.

Love,
E

SNOW DAY!!!

this is totally amazing....the amount of snow on the ground already and the fact that it has yet to stop and it''s 2:44 p.m. in the afternoon.
the mall is closed, church is closed tomorrow.... I have a ton of baking to finish and a little low on salt, sugar and brown sugar. couldn't get into my car if I wanted to anyway...not kidding about that. only a small strip of my car is visible from the driveway at the moment. :)

Unless we have a freak warm up, Christmas should be a white one.

miss all you guys! miss sledding with you too when you were little!

love, me

Howdy. Huggles.

Hey guys!

Got my x-mas shopping completely done and wrapped. Jordan's presents are hanging out under the tree, begging to be ripped open...by me mostly. I want him to open them now! I'm so excited that I may have hit the bullseye on his gifts.

Wish I was at home though so I could do the same for all of you. Your gifts will be on their way shortly though. Work has killed me all this week and looks like it'll be taking up my weekend as well, but I will get those out to you!

Especially the kids' presents. I'm hoping I can get those to Andi by Xmas eve.

So, I'm making Lemon Chicken tonight and think I may have screwed it up. Can anybody post the recipe on here so I can finally have a solid copy?

Thank you BBC, for giving terrorism a voice. I wonder if backward ignorant conservatives should have their mouths sewn shut?

Miracles Do Indeed Happen, with Help from Angels

Too very exciting things just happened.

1) I turned the page in my 365 day "The Secret" calendar to find the following message:

  • "If you have a problem with a member of your family who is negative, begin by writing a list of all the things you appreciate about that person. Remember to include gratitude to them for giving you a great desire for positivity in your life; because that is a gift they are giving you! As you focus with all of your strength on appreciation, you will not only reduce your exposure to the negativity, but at the same time you will be attracting positive people into your life. Get yourself on to the appreciation frequency, and the law of attraction can surround you only with people who are in a positive state."  [Wow! What just happened?]
 2) I finished baking a new batch of Christmas cookies. The first batch came out bad because Jess forgot a whole cup of sugar. :-P I can't seem to figure out if I should do Anise or Vanilla frosting, so I tried mixing the two, it smells like root beer :) Oh, and I just found this picture:

3) This is the kicker, I just logged in to check my grade submissions, and behold! I recieved an 'A' in Business Statistics! Hooray!

Love You Guys

Good News!
