Miracles Do Indeed Happen, with Help from Angels

Too very exciting things just happened.

1) I turned the page in my 365 day "The Secret" calendar to find the following message:

  • "If you have a problem with a member of your family who is negative, begin by writing a list of all the things you appreciate about that person. Remember to include gratitude to them for giving you a great desire for positivity in your life; because that is a gift they are giving you! As you focus with all of your strength on appreciation, you will not only reduce your exposure to the negativity, but at the same time you will be attracting positive people into your life. Get yourself on to the appreciation frequency, and the law of attraction can surround you only with people who are in a positive state."  [Wow! What just happened?]
 2) I finished baking a new batch of Christmas cookies. The first batch came out bad because Jess forgot a whole cup of sugar. :-P I can't seem to figure out if I should do Anise or Vanilla frosting, so I tried mixing the two, it smells like root beer :) Oh, and I just found this picture:

3) This is the kicker, I just logged in to check my grade submissions, and behold! I recieved an 'A' in Business Statistics! Hooray!

Love You Guys

Keys to good cookies:

Refrigerate the dough for at least an hour, its easier to work with.

Thickness to dough, but not too thick, I think this comes with practice.

Bake them less time than directed, usually can tell they are done when you smell them.

Eat the cripples immediately so as to not taint the crowd :)

the dough can be sticky, that's what the extra flour is for when rolling out. ;)
