Progress on Dad's House!

Making headway on the new house for Dad. New domestic waterlines, prep work underway for fresh paint on the walls and new flooring!

Will have to have a survey company help us with the property, neighbors are parking on our land!

As well, winter is appproaching and we still have to get the heat on, Gas company coming tommorrow.

Just waiting on the bank to clear on Nathan's place and there goes the neighborhood!

Honestly, though, the neighbors to Dad's immediate east are motivated sellers, might have an opportunity on a third house on the same street.

Hey, does everybody like Jordan? Things between us are getting more serious every day, and I just want to make sure everyone's ok with him before he and I take any big steps.

Not that anything big will happen anytime too soon. Bigger steps are coming though. Power of attorney, joint bank accounts, co-signing on a vehicle, etc.

I don't know. We casually gazed at wedding bands today. Unsettling, yet warm, feelings crawled up my back. I love him enough to make him a permanent part of my life and be a permanent part of his. I'd do anything for him. I'd kill for him. I'd die for him, really.

Christmas

So the holidays are just around the corner, and I know I'm going to regret saying this because I know that he and I are just a like, but I need christmas lists from everyone.
1. because dad wants it,
2. because I have to get everyones stuff sooner and mail it out (even tho you guys can't open anything until xmas..haha)
3. because I haven't really been around all ya'all so I have no idea what you guys want.

I think you all know that I stink at presents, and if you don't, well I really do stink at gift giving. I usually get the stupidest thing or soemthing that is not practical at all....

I already know what I'm getting dad, but like I said, the sooner I have everyones list, the sooner I can get to the stores and whatnots..

Turn off the internet connection immediately and turn off your computer!

If you have a firewall, make sure it is on before going on the internet.

Dad's computer is infected and the only way I can see to fix it is to reinstall the operating system because his registry is f**cked.

It is an ugly ugly computer scam that will make you pay $49.95 to get rid of the problem it starts.

Dad shouldn't be allowed to use a computer or the internet without supervision.

Eberly Book Club - Book One

Seems like we've touched on a subject recently that probably could use some more debate and discussion.
I bought a book which I started reading - The Reason for God- Belief in an Age of Skepticism (Timothy Keller). Pretty interesting read... and I'd love to devote some time to this blog to discussing chapters, ideas, thoughts that come up in the book.
