OK. Am I the only American who remembers that his MOM was Caucasian?
He isn't really black, more light brown or very tan. And remember, he has less in common with the average American "black" because he really didn't live here as a small child. He spent those years in Indonesia with his Mom and Stepfather. And when he returned to the U.S. he lived with his Caucasian grandparents. Please, how can anyone actually hold his race against him? He doesn't have just one.

"The 24-hour news cycle and cable television and blogs and all this — they focus on the most extreme elements on both sides," Obama said. "They can't get enough of conflict. It's catnip to the media right now."

Ok, I have to agree with Obama about this too, at least to a certain extent...my only issue is there is one prodominant "conservative" station, Fox, which has its heavy bias, however there are three heavy hitting and broadcast stations who lean more to the left...the issue being, the "evil conservative" extreme is being shown more to Americans than the controlling left extreme is being shown...
