Angry News #5? #6? I dunno

So...the angry news for today is the fact that there is no news. The giant million-fairy march on the Mall in D.C. was almost completely ignored by the media. Wow. That was mean. Call my own people fairies? Sheesh.

Anyway, this was a rally to show the president, congress and the rest of the jerks in this country who continue to push us aside and ignore our rights that we are sick of it. SICK.

But no. No coverage. No week-long lead up. No media immersion in the crowds at the protests.

Maybe if we called it a tea party and wrote hateful signs directed toward the president, and spewed off baseless base and rediculous conservative rhetoric about taxes, we would have been heard.

Damn it. I am seriously angry. I broke the stiletto on my heel driving into the kitchen tile with my fury.

...that last bit was a joke.

Oh, but FOXNews will cover the protest of the stupid school in NJ who sang a song about the President by showing b-roll of an EMPTY SIDEWALK where the protest SUPPOSEDLY TOOK PLACE.

dude, sorry to say it, but the reason is that much of the news is diverted to "healthcare reform"...or rather health care spending.

all that can be done is continued pressure to make changes and keep pushing forward. can't be angered or made mad by not getting what you want...sort of why certain civil rights leaders did well and others were just jokes.

and the song about the president was really a wrong thing to do anyway...too many people have in fact portrayed him as some type of savior...including the Nobel voting...when in fact he has done nothing but played the political game really well...not something spectacular...

But you'd give more news coverage to an empty sidewalk than tens-of-thousands at the Capital?

It's insulting. Plain and simply insulting.

healthcare reform is a bigger issue baby. sucks, but it's the truth.
civil rights for gays...not a priority item for the President or Congress. Again, Obama made promises he couldn't keep. I said after he was elected that the man would have to prioritize his promises - healthcare, the war, foreign policy, economy...those are his big ticket issues that he's not even close to tackling or delivering on yet. gay marriage, don't ask, don't tell, etc. not so much.

sorry buddy...

I wasn't talking about politics here, just media coverage. But since you brought it up...

Why aren't our rights a priority? Since when is civil rights not a friggin' priority?

I would imagine giving equal rights and ensuring every citizen is a free citizen would be our grandest priority. After all, we are the only truly free nation on this planet.

That's bull. That's just pure bull.

it is bull, but all you can do is keep pushing forward...it was bull when blacks were not treated as citizens...it was bull when women weren't allowed to vote...but people kept fighting...

listen here is that its all politics...promises made and promises not kept...
