I'm not as strong as I pretend to be, evidently. Some jerk on youtube doesn't believe I'm a Marine and it's driving me insane. Why do I care about this ONE lowlife? I've given this guy everything save my social security number and he still won't believe me!
I need a psychology major to tell me how integrity works in a person so well that it can drive him or her completely bonkers when questioned.

that's what I'm asking. WHY do I care? I want a scientific answer.
you care because you have some self esteem issues...you've always had them and will work through them over time. The only opinions that should matter to you are those of your family and close friends. Some complete stranger whom you're interacting with does NOT matter in the grand scheme of things.
i think you often do and say things to gain some sort of attention and recognition...you crave it, it's important to you. This is why drama/theater was such a perfect fit for you.
Until you're happy with yourself and proud of yourself, you'll find yourself constantly seeking acceptance wherever you can find it.
So, your homework assignment is to set up a journal - and start writing about what you've accomplished, who you want to be and what you are going to do to become that person. and work on it... :)
shouldnt be hard to do, though, you're pretty darn fantastic already.
